Less then six months ago, the CEO of Cisco Systems, John Chambers, stated that, "On-line training or e-learning is the next big thing on the Internet." He thus became, in part, responsible for unleashing a groundswell of interest in the nascent field of e-learning. Although still very much in its infancy, this new industry has already witnessed phenomenal market growth worldwide, and is poised to undergo a veritable explosion. According to a report recently issued by HAMBRECHT & Co., the on-line training market is likely to double every year, reaching $11.5 billion by 2003 and, according to Piper Jaffrey, it may reach $50 million by 2005.
Arel Communications and Software is the leader in e-learning technology. "The company has over a decade of experience in developing internationally recognized, market-winning technologies, and has devoted the last five years to producing the most advanced, live and on-demand, interactive, corporate training systems," stated Izhak Gross, Chairman and CEO of Arel.

"Since early 1998, our strategic decision to secure value added reseller contracts with leading organizations has paid off, and has given us instant market penetration, followed by a constant rise in revenues."
On August 10, 2000 Arel announced that it has finalized the deal to acquire substantially all of the assets of W2COM, LLC, a privately held company, based in Dayton, Ohio. W2COM is a major provider of Interactive Videoconferencing, Data & Network Integration Services and Distance Learning Services. This transaction forms the perfect synergy expected by the world of e-learning, allowing for end-to-end solution offerings and expanding Arel's business in healthcare, business-to-business and the K-12 education market.
"In line with the latest e-learning market trends, we are very active in securing strategic partnerships with leading service providers, in areas such as infrastructure, customized and off-the-shelf course-ware, professional consulting, Application Services Provision (ASP) and Learning Service Provision (LSP)," explained Gross.
